I picked this app up after starting dev on OS 4. It sounds great, but at this point it crashes once it connects to web storage. Hopefully support for 4 comes along soon. I will update once actually used. For now it gets a 2 for potential.

If you dont havé thé service on a river you cant use thé GPS data so nô checkpoint so dont buy thé upgrade

Its a great log for being free. I have used it a little and it is the best one I have seen. I am probably going to buy the pro version.

This is the most complete, Easy to use fishing log app on the AppStore. I have bought many of them and this is the one to use. Please continue updating it. Thanks

One of the better apps and a must have for any fisherman with an iPhone.

I have downloaded some crappy apps but at least they open. This app just gets stuck on initializing web storage on my iPhone 4. Dont waste your time.

Worked ok till i update to pro $8 or so now locks when loading and cant get any help

I had the lite version for a couple of days before I decided to upgrade to the Amateur level. The overall look and feel of the app is professional and appealing but what I really liked was how quickly and easily I could record the important information about my catch. I found the drop downs, on the gear page, made it much easier to record information that I can reference again next time I fish that spot. I also liked the one-touch access to the largest catch - it made it quick and easy to show my fishing buddies my catch. The addition of the GPS, maps, and photo in the amateur level is where this app really shows its value. I dont fish professionally, or even that seriously, but the features in the Pro version are intriguing. As a hobbyist I found Hunt-Fish-Fishing a very useful and powerful tool that helped me make the most of my limited fishing time. Just the added credibility of having the GPS and map location attached to the picture of my fish saved me tons of time convincing my buddies of the truth of my catch. That, by itself, was worth the $3.

Cant wait to get on the water with this new App. Always wanted to keep a fishing journal, but hated carrying a notebook on the water, and Im too tired at the end of the day to write everything down. This will make it easy to gather more details than I could with paper anyway, and I always have my iPhone with me. Thanks.

I have gotten a chance to use it twice now. I really like how I can put in the default info prior to my trip so that when I make the catch it is so easy to document. Its intuitive and very easy to use. I bought the upgrade before my last trip and really had fun with it. I took my sons with me this last trip and they loved the pictures (especially the ones with them in it) and whenever they get the chance, have asked me to show their friends. Cant wait for spring and summer to really start to build up the info. Thanks

I cant wait to see whats next from this group. I am on the water at every given opportunity and the ability to track, store and archive my sporting adventures is paramount to my continued enjoyment of the outdoors. I cant say how many times I have tried to find a great location that I know Ive been to before only to find that its on the North fork, not the South fork or another lake altogether. Im also loving the "database" of my photos to show my skeptical buddies the truth, no more trying to describe the one that got away, where I was when I caught it or what I was using... Great app, a sportsmans dream.

nice app but jus paid $5 for the pro and it takes at least 15 mins to load with wifi! :(

How do you get the full version of this does anyone know?

Caught fish records are stored online, in HuntFishTrackers web storage. There is no reason why the data couldnt be stored in the iPhone, as it is in the companys nearly identical app, "After The Catch". I find this suspicious. I dont see anything in the privacy disclosure that prevents HuntFishTracker from using the trip logs to create and publish a database of all users favorite, most productive fishing holes. Such a database would sell very well. Tell me Im just paranoid...

I just paid $5 for an app that would kill a fish by the time I could record any information associated with the catch. Syncing with web storage can take up to 15 minutes. There should be an option to manually sync, background sync, or not sync at all. The iPhone can store the data and maybe I dont want the web to know where I caught my biggest fish. Why couldnt I sync all info after my trip is over instead of every time I open the app? Why cant I show a buddy a picture of the fish I caught without having to wait 15 minutes for the app to "sync to web storage"? It appears that the pro version is the only one with this problem from all reviews. Unfortunately, there is not an option to downgrade, only to upgrade.

I would love to have this app...if I could get past the welcome page. So far I have gotten nowhere close to signing up/on...wanna share? Please....

fishbook lite is way better one its FREE two it doesnt need web storage three its faster and four it does the same thing as the pro app

This is my first review because Im lazy but I feel like I definitely owe this to them. Ive been using the free version and lost my phone. I called the company because I forgot my username after I re-downloaded the program. Two people were following up with me everyday. Not only did they retrieved my old account but upon logging in, ALL MY DATA WERE TRANSFERRED AUTOMATICALLY! (cheers to web storage instead of on the phone) Definitely download this program and give it a try. Its loaded with different functions. I highly recommended.

I bought the 4.99 version adn it was working great - I upgraded my phones OS and now it doesnt work at all, it starts the web sync and just shuts down. I reloaded and it does the same thing. Since this is still a 1.1 version wonder if they need an upgrade. I also hope I dont lose all my data - I have a ton in there.
